Setting rules to a friend. Sigh

•October 20, 2008 • 1 Comment

Living in a free world you can do as many things as u wanted to. Setting rules to a friend is a part of it.

You can set as much rules as u could. U can even publish a book of it for others to aware. You may do so. I didn’t give a damn of it. For someone who setting rules for me, trust me… another rules will makes me another step further from you. Leaving you to live the ‘happy’ life that you wanted to.

Thinking of it, why don’t I make the same rules to my friends instead. Nahhh.. I rather not to. Once I’m starting to set rules over my friend, believe me or not u will totally get annoyed. I’ll guarantee of it. So I chose not to, although my friends sometime are getting my nerves. But what the heck, they are all my friends anyway. They might have the worst attitude ever, just live with it. Not setting rules to them in order to be friends. If you do so, hmmmm you are more or less like them.

do n don'ts to become my friends

Checking on my inbox… stumbled to a mail from a friend of mine, Bob. Farewell mail from him. Yes that’s true, today is his last day in Flextronics. For the past 2 years working with him… it is such a great pleasure. We shared the same interests which are photography n Jco donuts. And not to mention our “mengular” moment. LOL . But he is such a great friend anyway.

Try to make this post short n sweet. I dedicate this post just to wish him a prosperity future, and being happy with his family and newborn son, Ammar. (Haven’t had chances to cuddle Ammar yet). You just have such a perfect life which I envy the most.

Thanks for all the help that u gave me. I will not forget any. Flextronics won’t be the same without you anymore. Sigh

SHINE

•October 16, 2008 • 1 Comment

Everyone have their own songs that they will listen to, in order to cheer up their life through out the day. We can consider that as inspirational songs. I do have bunch of songs that I would like to hear daily. But now right here in this moment and in this column I would like to share with u guys one of them. It is ‘take that’s’ song SHINE. Taken from their latest album. Love the lyrics of the song despite it’s catchy tunes.

Parts that I would like to hear and for others to remember it as well are as below.
It is just a bunch of simple words which makes the message delivered clearly

Stop being so hard on yourself
It’s not good for your health
I know that you can change
So clear your head and come round
You can only after all open your eyes
You might just get a big surprise
And it may feel good and
you might want to smile, smile, smile

Outshine yourself with being easy to yourself. Just wanna share what happened to me before, I’ve been stop believing on myself and keep on telling to myself that I’m good for nothing. So rejection is a must in every part of my daily life. Till the first time I heard this song, it kind of struck me to my head that the thing that I shouldn’t do. Don’t ever being hard to yourself. Now I’m on my way to collect all the pieces of guts and self value that I’ve wasted all this while.

To whom that are facing the things that I’ve shared, just remember what the words are saying ‘Stop being hard on yourself”… I’m pretty sure you will be fine then.

To all my dear friends what ever the worst thing tend to happen in your life… I’ll be on your side anyway. No worries then.

Don’t ever make yourself as the victim when you are disappointed with the world. Don’t ever do that. I did the mistakes and I’ve paid such a great price.

My Navigation Skills Have Been Tested

I’m not sure whether do I want to go to Budapest alone or not. It’s kind of risky since I’m not familiar with the route to the Budapest or Budapest itself. I have been thinking for few days, should I go or should I not. And on Friday, I’ve decided to go anyway. I’m hoping that everything will be fine.

Woke up at 5 in the morning, try to travel light. Few t shirts n sweater will do. So once 7 am, I’m already in the car. I went to shell station to buy the highway ticket. It’s like a prepaid coupon to enter the highway. The journey starts right after that.

here I am, Budapest

here I am, Budapest

It is 3 hours journey from Zalaegersezeg to Budapest, The thrill starts once i enter the Budapest. I have been told that to go to Kisfaludy Utca which is supposed to be nearby the Petofi hid. To be safe, I have studied the map before. I managed to locate where is the exact location of the street is. And waalaaa.. , the only way to go to that street is closed. Now I’m confused. How in the earth I manage to go to that street. Since it is one way street, I have to go all the way in order to get back to that street. And again I can’t find any alternative way to get through to that street. Adding to it, it’s kind of a heavy traffic jam. It took me an hour to circling the Budapest. And for goodness sake, I’m driving a manual car.

my view

my view

To make it worse I accidentally make a wrong turn, and it cause me to drive to the other part of Budapest. And which is hard for me to do a u turn, legally. So I have to drive straight and search for signboard that goes to centrums which means city centre. I manage to get back to the city centre after another 45 minutes of driving. I decided to park the car at the side of the streets and walk to the place instead.

Yeap… I manage to find the street, Kisfaludy Utca, not forgetting to mention that it is a cheap room n bed in breakfast style. So I guess, I have to stay in someone’s apartment. I’ve called the guy who arranges this room. And guess what, the guy wants to meet me somewhere else. I’m like.. where do this freaking idiot wants me to go instead. I hardly find this street and now he wants me to go to another street. Geessshhh.. This guy is killing me. Need to go to another street which is Szigony Utca. And I’m decided, I’m done with walking. I grab a taxi to go to that street. It cost me 1500 forint. Care less by the way. Finally I manage to get there… after total of 6 hours drive n one hour walking. Not to mention that, I have only the map to refers to, no GPS device involved. Sigh…

After all, the trip was fun and I’m totally enjoying it. It is good. At least I’m able to prove to myself that I can travel alone. A decision which is I hardly make in the 1st place. I do proud of it.

*thinking about it now, I’m pretty sure that I qualify to be in the amazing race. My navigation skills have been tested right? Seriously thinking about that. LOL

Tergelak sendirian apabila membaca petikan suratkhabar NST dibawah yang bertarikh 10 oktober 2008

Datukship for Shah Rukh Khan

MALACCA: Popular Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is among 77 people to be conferred the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM), which carries the title Datuk, in conjunction with the 70th birthday of Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob today.

“The chief minister respond to the people that, the decision to confer the title to Shah Rukh Khan was because to promote Malacca and his effort to promote malacca in his film ’0ne 2 ka 4′ at the A Famosa Resort several years ago. Because of the film, tourist to Malacca increased dramatically”

Sumber: www.emelaka.gov.my

Raya In Zala

•October 13, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Everyone keep on asking me, how do I feel celebrating raya alone in Hungary? Without any hesitation I would answer them, there is no much difference compared to my raya celebration at home. Celebrating raya for me is just for the sake of symbolic shows that Ramadan has ended

There is not much different between my raya and my normal days. It just during raya we have extra dishes and got to wear baju melayu for the whole day. Other than that.. ermmm let see.. Nothing much that I can tell.

So when someone says “Ko mesti sedih kan ford, tak dapat raya dgn family tahun ni”; I will laughing all the way. To be honest, I feel nothing. For the past several years, celebrating raya in Kelana Jaya and not surrounded by cousins and my grannies, so I kinda used to celebrate it alone. Spending the whole day of raya watching dvds. Trust me, it really sucks for the first couple of years when thinking that you still have your grannies n cousins. Whether I like it or not, I have to get used to it.

If there is anyone trying to figure out why I was happy to spend my raya alone in zalaegerszeg, just put you yourself in my god damn shoes and I’m sure you will be happy to celebrate raya the way I did…

last moment of Ramadan
